This database consists of talents from:
- Recommendations of Thrust and Priority Area Representatives;
- SciVal, a comprehensive platform on research performance; and
- Websites of Top Universities in the world.
Before diving in, here are some tips to help you reach out to potential candidates for the University:
- Please select the faculty whom you personally know and suggest them to consider joining HKUST or through them to recommend suitable candidates.
- You can select as many names as you want across all lists.
- Some names in grey represent faculty who have been reached by several of us already, so please try contacting others.
- After selecting the name(s), you will be able to email these faculty from your HKUST email account in bulk. A standard email is provided but you can customize your message.
- Your full name will be shown in the signature of the email(s) automatically. In case you would like to use your first name, you can remove [your-name] in the template and write your first name there.
- If you selected more than one name, the email will be addressed to each recipient by their first name (default) or by Prof. last name. You can select in the salutation.
- File(s) can be attached with the email. Please note that the maximum file size is 5MB.
- You may also add new talents to this database. If you have a list to upload, please send to Jessica Tai of VPIAO (jessicatai@ust.hk). We are happy to do it for you.
